Welcome to Vance DisputeResolution, PC, where Al Vance, founder and managing partner, leverages over two decades of legal experience to provide expert arbitration and mediation services. An accomplished engineer, litigator, and corporate attorney, Al excels in strategic problem-solving, mediation, litigation, leadership development, risk reduction, and negotiations.

Al's legal journey began in 2000 at a prestigious Birmingham, Alabama litigation firm, where he later became a partner. In private practice, he honed his skills across various areas, including employment, product liability, and professional liability, practicing in state and federal courts in Alabama and Georgia. Al also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama School of Law. His expertise lies in strategic problem-solving, mediation, and arbitration. He is registered with respected organizations like the American Arbitration Association, International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, Alabama State Court Mediator Roster, and ADR Panel of Neutrals for the Northern District of Alabama. In 2023, he was appointed as a Hearing Officer for the Alabama State Bar's Disciplinary Board and holds an AV Preeminent Martindale Hubbell Rating.
